Blueberry

Stay connected.
Stay kids.

A little more freedom.
A little less phone.

We’re building a simple pocket communicator for the years before a smartphone.

Messages with the people you approve. Pickup plans your child can send with a few buttons. GPS location in the parent app.

No games. No social media. No keyboard. No voice.

In development. Product images are concepts.

The messages that matter

Most family logistics don’t need a whole phone.

Blueberry is designed to help your child send a message, get an answer, and get back to what they were doing.

  • “Pick me up.”
  • “I’m here.”
  • “On my way.”
  • “Love you.”

Product concept demo

Try the flow

Pick a person, a message, and a place. Then see how a parent answers. Fictional people and places. This runs in your browser only and does not show production connectivity.

Message

Use the keys or click an option. Keyboard: arrows to move, Enter to select, Escape to go back.

Parent app Simulated
  1. No messages yet. Send one from the device.

“I need help” messages approved adults. It is not a 911 call.

You set it up. They keep it simple.

Choose their people.

Add the contacts who can message your child.

Choose their messages.

Write the replies and requests your family actually uses.

Choose their places.

Save the school entrance, soccer field, or a friend’s house.

Stay in touch.

Send messages and check the device’s latest available location from your app.

Simple should stay simple.

We’re building Blueberry to do a small job well.

There won’t be games to unlock, an app store to explore, or a more entertaining plan to buy.

Our goal is a useful device your family can keep, then pass down.

What Blueberry will not have

  • Camera
  • Microphone or voice
  • Games
  • AI companion
  • Social media
  • Browser
  • App store
  • Public profiles
  • Streaks or rewards
  • A paid upgrade into a phone

You decide when they’re ready.

There’s no graduation date.

Use Blueberry for as long as it works for your family. When it’s time for a phone, that decision belongs to you.

Why we’re building it

I’m Michael, a dad of three.

I want my kids making plans, heading outside, and figuring things out. I also want a way to reach them.

Blueberry is the thing I want to put in their pocket.

We’re starting small: a working prototype, honest feedback from families, and a clear idea of what this product should do.

FAQ

Can my child type?

The first version is designed around preset messages you configure in the parent app.

Can I type messages to my child?

Yes. That is part of the planned experience.

Will it have GPS?

Yes. GPS is a requirement for the first production version. The app will distinguish current, older, and unavailable location information.

Is there a monthly fee?

We expect a service subscription for mobile connectivity. Pricing is still being developed.

Can it be passed down?

That is a core design requirement, including securely changing the child and account settings.

Is it an emergency phone?

No. Blueberry is a messaging device. It is not designed to call 911 or replace adult supervision.
